How easy is it to change my accountant?


The answer to this question is quite simply very!

The necessary procedures are as follows:
  • Signature of form 64-8 to authorise your new accountants to act as agents with the Inland Revenue
  • Signature of engagement letter
  • Letter to previous adviser to inform of change
  • Provision of documents confirming identity to satisfy legal regulations (this comprises simply of photo ID and proof of address)
